Abstract Guidelines

Poster Presentation & Exhibition

The poster panels must be no larger than A0 (Portrait style) which is 841 x 1189mm. Text must be readable from 1m away.  Please be aware that there is no space for excessive sizes. Presenters are advised to make A4 photocopies for placement underneath the poster. Adhesive as well as special A4 plastic sleeves will be provided at the poster boards for the poster copy and business cards. Authors will be required to do a short presentation (2-3 minutes) about their poster during the daily “poster walk” which will be scheduled during and immediately after lunch time on every day of the congress. Each poster will be allocated a specific day for display.

Deadlines:

Please note the following deadline dates for oral and poster presenters:

12 August 2016:   Registration and payment of registration fees of presenting author to have been received by the Congress Secretariat.  Failure to register in time will result in removal of the poster/presentation from the scientific programme.

Oral presentations

Presenters in the Knowledge fair component of the programme (free scientic communication) will have 10 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for questions i.e 15 minutes in total for their presentations.  Powerpoint presentations will have to be submitted to the congress organisers at the speakers booth on the day before their presentation is scheduled.  It will then be loaded on the desktop computer at the venue where they will present.
