Reginald Annan, a Ghanaian by birth, is a Public Health Nutritionist and lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, where he has served for 4.5 years. Prior to that, he worked as Research Fellow for the University of Southampton, UK, where he worked with the International Malnutrition Task Force (IMTF), to build capacity for the prevention and treatment Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). His research interests span across Nutrition in HIV/AIDS, Infant and Young Child Nutrition, strengthening capacity for prevention and treatment of malnutrition, and Diet-related chronic diseases and eLearning. He has consulted for the IAEA, UNICEF and FAO. He has many peered reviewed articles and abstracts to his credit and was the lead author of the IMTF/University of Southampton eLearning course on caring for infants and young children with SAM. He serves on many boards including the Executive Committee of WPHNA, Expert Panel for FANUS, and Secretary for Ghana Nutrition Association.
