Jacques Rousseau

Jacques Rousseau lectures on critical thinking and ethics at UCT, and is the founder and chairperson of the Free Society Institute, established in 2009 to promote secular humanism and scientific reasoning in South Africa. He and a colleague are the co-authors of “Critical Thinking, Science, and Pseudoscience: Why We Can’t Trust Our Brains”, published by Springer Publishing Company in March 2016. Jacques is a regular contributor to public debates on politics, science and morality in the South African media, and archives his columns and interviews on Synapses – ‪http://synapses.co.za .
