Roger Shrimpton

Roger Shrimpton is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Global Community Health and Behavioural Sciences of Tulane University, teaching on the double burden of malnutrition course. He was Chief of Nutrition in UNICEF for two years, and Secretary of the UNSCN for five years. He worked for fourteen years in Brazil, of which eight with the Amazonian Research Institute (INPA) in Manaus and six with UNICEF, as well as seven years in Indonesia with UNICEF. He has a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Surrey, and MSc and PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
